Purchased in 1972 as a stud farm breeding and raising Hereford cattle, Cedel Downs became an internationally renowned Belgian Blue cattle stud farm in the late 1980s.
Since the 2000s we’ve been a commercial beef farm nestled in 350 acres of rolling hills northwest of Auckland.
This year, instead of opening our sunflower patch, we’ve poured our time and energy into bringing true farm-to-table goodness directly to you. You can now purchase half a body of beef straight from our farm and have it butchered your way with our local partners at Meatworx, just 3km down the road. It’s a genuine farm to table experience - raised here, processed nearby, and enjoyed exactly how you like it.
